Therefore, robust cybersecurity measures are essential to mitigate these risks and protect valuable information. The Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Security is a one-year, full-time specialised programme which covers critical topics such as cyber law, network security, cryptography, ethical hacking, cybercrime investigations, and risk management. It equips students with the necessary knowledge and skills to identify, prevent, and respond to cyber threats effectively so as to safeguard/protect digital assets. This Programme prepares students to skilfully face/handle/adopt the challenges of securing digital environments in today's rapidly evolving technological landscape. 1. This follows a 2,500% rise in crypto-related forensic cases from 2020 to 2024, underscoring the need for experts in cybercrime investigations. 2. Rising Cybercrime Investigations Demand Forensic Experts According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, forensic analysis of around 11,203 digital devices, the surge in cases involving ransomware, phishing, and crypto laundering has heightened the need for professionals trained in cybercrime investigations and digital forensics. 3. Rising Cybersecurity Threats in India's Financial Sector With the growing digitisation of India's financial sector, cybersecurity threats have escalated, leading to a significant increase in the demand for cybersecurity experts.
