The sector requires a workforce that possesses not only theoretical knowledge but also practical, industry-relevant skills. Skill-based education and hands-on training play a vital role in preparing students to meet the evolving requirements of the logistics industry and build successful careers across transportation, warehousing, inventory, procurement and supply chain operations.

Programme Introduction

The B.Voc. (Logistics) is a skill-based undergraduate programme designed to develop industry-ready professionals for the rapidly evolving logistics sector. The programme combines academic learning with practical and experiential training, enabling students to understand and apply key concepts of logistics and supply chain operations. Thus, the programme emphasizes learning by doing, with practical exposure, industry-oriented assignments, projects and on-the-job learning to bridge the gap between classroom education and workplace requirements. Students will gain knowledge and practical skills in areas such as Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Warehousing & Inventory Management, Transportation Management, Procurement, Distribution, E-commerce Logistics, Documentation and Digital Technologies in Logistics.
